There are times when we expect to experience God only through something extraordinary—a powerful worship service, an answered prayer, or a life-changing moment. But often, God meets us in much quieter ways.
He is present in the early morning light, in a meaningful conversation, in a moment of peace after a difficult day, and even in the small acts of kindness we receive from others.
The Bible reminds us:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Being still does not always mean doing nothing. Sometimes it means slowing down enough to notice what God is already doing around us.
Our daily routines can easily become busy and repetitive. We may feel as though nothing important is happening. But God can use even the most ordinary moments to shape our hearts, teach us patience, and draw us closer to Him.
A simple prayer, a few minutes spent reading Scripture, or choosing gratitude during a difficult moment can become an opportunity to experience His presence.
God is not limited to a church building or a special occasion. He is with us in every place—in our homes, workplaces, relationships, struggles, and quiet moments.
Today, take a moment to pause and ask:
Where have I seen God’s goodness in the ordinary parts of my life?
You may discover that He has been nearer than you realized.
